Ireland and Scotland

I have traced a number of trees back to ancestors from Ireland and Scotland. They are as follows:

Edward Sergesson and descendants – Edward was a soldier who can be traced back to Wigtownshire in Scotland.

Sargaision family tree – an unusual variant of the surname. The family can be traced back to Armagh in Northern Ireland and the earliest ancestor was a soldier.

John Sergison and his descendants – originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland with some family members becoming soldiers.

Sergisons in Ireland and beyond – five branches mainly from Northern Ireland with soldiers in some of them.

Although most of the surnames found in these trees are variants of Sergison, there is one tree where the surname is somewhat different, Sargaison, and not found elsewhere.
