Ireland and Scotland

I have traced a number of trees back to ancestors from Ireland and Scotland. They are as follows:

Edward Sergesson and descendants – Edward was a soldier who can be traced back to Wigtownshire in Scotland. Included on this page are two more possible family groups who may have been related to Edward

Sargaision family tree – an unusual variant of the surname. The family can be traced back to Armagh in Northern Ireland and the earliest ancestor was a soldier.

Sergisons in Ireland and beyond – six family groups, with five of them originating in Northern Ireland, and some with descendants who emigrated either to England, Canada and/or USA.

Although most of the surnames found in these trees are variants of Sergison, there is one tree where the surname is somewhat different, Sargaison, and the variant is not found elsewhere.
