The trees included in this section include ancestors traced to the historic county of West Riding of Yorkshire. They include:

Kirby Malham, West Riding of Yorkshire families – the majority of family members have the Sargeantson variant of the surname.

Sargesons of Calverley and USA – the majority of family members had the surname variant Sargeson. Two brothers emigrated to the USA in the 19th century.

Two main surname variants predominate in these trees: Sargeantson and Sargeson.

A further tree has been developed which starts with John Serjeantson of Burnsall. Unfortunately, so far, a baptism has not been found for him. The family do seem to have been local farmers, so it is possible that there are links with one of the other trees in the West Riding.
