The trees included in this section all seem to originate with ancestors in the historic East Riding of Yorkshire. They include:
Cottingham, Sculcoates, Hull and beyond family tree – with family members largely with the surname variant Sargeson some of whom worked as fishermen and in the fish trade.
Elias Sargeantson family tree – this is my own tree where I can trace people back to Howden in the East Riding.
Hotham family tree – with family members largely with the surname variant Sargeson . It includes a amily who ran the Hotham Arms in the late 19th and 20th centuries.
South Cave and beyond family tree – mostly Sargisons with a branch of the family emigrating to Canada.
The last tree is a small group of families from York.
There are wide range of surnames variants in these trees: Sargeson, Sarginson, Sargison and Sergeson with an unusual variant, Surgison, not found elsewhere.
