The records in this tree start in the mid-16th century with some unusual surname variants. As time progresses though more of the people within its branches adopt the surname Serginson. The earliest members were all born in Gainsborough in Lincolnshire which is about 7 miles from Owston where other Sarjantsons can be found.
- Myles Sergeantsone was born about 1555. Myles married Agnes Moor and together they had at least six children. This is the Descendants of Myles Sergeantsone report for his family.
- William Sargeantson was born about 1565 and with his wife Jennett Bamne had at least five children, although I’ve been unable to trace their descendants. This is the Descendants of William Sargeantson report.
- Robert Sergenson probably had at least two children although I’ve been unable to trace any other members of this family. This is the Descendants of Robert Sergenson report.
- John Sergenson probably had at least two children although I’ve been unable to trace any other members of this family. This is the Descendants of Robert Sergenson report.
The branch for Myles’s family seems to end in the mid-18th century. It seems likely that there are links between these branches and others that I’ve created. I haven’t found these yet so if you have any information which could help then do please contact me.
